Friends,
It’s completely natural to link being healthy with losing weight—after all, that’s what so many diets and fitness ads tell us. But here’s the truth, gently and honestly: being healthy and losing weight are not the same thing.
You can be working out regularly, eating nourishing foods, managing stress, and sleeping well—and still not see the number on the scale move much. And that’s okay. Because your body can be getting stronger, your heart can be healthier, your mood more stable, and your energy more consistent—even if your weight stays the same.
Weight loss is often just one possible side effect of healthy changes—not the goal itself. And when we make our health only about losing weight, we risk missing the deeper victories: healing from the inside out, building habits that last, and learning to love and respect our bodies for what they do, not just how they look.
So…
Friends,
You are the sum of the 5 people you hang around the most. Take inventory. Are they positively influencing you and your health?

Friends,
I work with a lot of people and here's what I know for sure....
When you understand and accept that health is 'now and forever' versus a diet that 'starts tomorrow', you're ready for sustainable change.
So, if you're still struggling to lose weight, it's time to start thinking differently. Health isn't a temporary effort.
Your Coach,
April
How many dashes can I get in one title? 🤣
Seriously, though...
Sometimes we just need a little something to get us over the hump.
Take what you need
0%A long hug from a friend 🤗
0%A strong cup of Joe ☕
0%A long walk in silence
0%30 minutes of reading
Take it and commit to doing it because you know it'll make you feel 10x better and get you through the rest of the week.
Take care of yourself, friends!
Friends,
Let's normalize realistic health goals! (And be SO PROUD when we achieve them!!)
You'll never stick to "I want to lose 50 lbs." What you will stick to is, "I will walk outside 3 times per week for 30 minutes in order to develop the habit of movement." And "I will add a side of vegetables to dinner every night to begin the process of nourishing my body."
