One thing is not like the other

Friends,

It’s completely natural to link being healthy with losing weight—after all, that’s what so many diets and fitness ads tell us. But here’s the truth, gently and honestly: being healthy and losing weight are not the same thing.

You can be working out regularly, eating nourishing foods, managing stress, and sleeping well—and still not see the number on the scale move much. And that’s okay. Because your body can be getting stronger, your heart can be healthier, your mood more stable, and your energy more consistent—even if your weight stays the same.

Weight loss is often just one possible side effect of healthy changes—not the goal itself. And when we make our health only about losing weight, we risk missing the deeper victories: healing from the inside out, building habits that last, and learning to love and respect our bodies for what they do, not just how they look.

So let’s shift the focus. Let’s celebrate every healthy step you take—whether or not it changes your pant size. Your body is worthy of care and kindness, right now, exactly as it is. Health is a journey, not a destination—and you’re doing beautifully. 💕

Your Coach,

April
