When I once asked a friend who was training for an Ironman race how he managed to train for three different sports—swimming, cycling, and running—his answer was simple but powerful: “If it’s in the schedule, it has to be done.”


That moment stuck with me because it revealed the secret to discipline in just a few words. Discipline isn’t about willpower, motivation, or pushing yourself harder than everyone else—it’s about making your habits part of your routine.
